Don't know if you saw the news the other night about the senate hearings over the Wells Fargo scam? FYI-Wells Fargo is the biggest bank in the world. As I watched senator Elizabeth Warren grill the Wells Fargo CEO about how he had pressured his employees to cross sell and forced them to meet sales quotas thus increasing stock prices and lining his pockets with bonuses and over $200 million in profits,
I got so angry I wanted to make this crooked banker hurt bad for his evil behavior.
In light of such terrible actions I asked myself what can I one little person do about this?
Have you ever felt a bit hopeless in the face of criminal misdeeds and huge need? Can I make any kind of positive difference? Can you?
Well my thought today about what I saw and for you is this. People are not things to be used and abused for one's own selfish gain. People are people who need love and attention just like you.
I may not be able to rectify the Wells Fargo problem but I can be kind to the next person I meet at work, at the store and where ever I am today. God calls me to shine His light one person at a time. I wonder, where will you shine today? People are people and they need your light. Shine on.
